Soft Start For ABC Family's 'Lying Game'
ABC's latest original drama, The Laying Game, was slow from the gate on Monday, starting with 1.4 million audiences, possessing 58% of their Secret Existence from the American Teen lead-in (2.4 million). Which was less than the soft opening of fellow rookie The Nine Lives of Chloe King, which came 2.two million in the June debut. It had been also less than other recent ABC Family premieres, including Pretty Little Liars making It Or Break It, which both opened up with 2.5 million audiences. ABC Family's benchmark this summer time continues to be breakout hit Switched at Birth, which opened up with 3.3 million audiences in June while breaking youthful demo rankings records for that network.
