Lionsgate acquires 'Big Wedding'
Lionsgate has acquired U.S. and U.K. distribution privileges to ensemble comedy "The Large Wedding" from Nu Image / Millenium films.Lionsgate intends to open the film locally on March. 19, 2012. The announcement is made collectively Tuesday.Cast includes Robert P Niro, Susan Sarandon, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Robin Williams, Ben Barnes and Topher Sophistication. It's presently shooting in Greenwich, Ct."Wedding," written and directed by Justin Zackham ("The Bucket List"), centers around P Niro and Keaton's figures, a lengthy divorced couple having to pretend that they're still happily married at their son's wedding.Zackham, Clay Pecorin, Richard Salvatore and Harry Ufland are creating. Nu Image's Avi Lerner, Danny Dimbort and Trevor Short are executive creating."Wedding" may be the first title to become dated on March. 19, 2012. Par's opening "Fun Size" and Sony's slotted the untitled Kathryn Bigelow drama for that previous frame.
